Spain has everything to offer every type of golfer, the first and most important thing is great all year round weather with in excess of 300 days of sunshine, the second, a huge choice of courses including parkland, links, courses with sea views, mountain views, flat courses, hilly courses, championship courses and spectacular mountain courses that meander through the foothills.
There are also a great deal of choice for the various regions and towns which reflect the differing cultures and historical roots.
Cadiz
This is part of Costa de la Luz but is a fast growing golfing area and deserves to be featured in its own right, Some great golf courses and waiting to be discovered. Famous for its sherry production and an ideal spot if you wish to avoid the tourist areas
Costa del Sol
Popularly known as the the Costa del Golf, with 40 plus courses in close proximity, the area is well named. Great nightlife in several of the famous resorts.
Costa Almeria
This area is still growing and there are plans for more courses in the near future, this area has some top class courses and even less rain than the Costa del Sol. The only desert golf courses in Europe.
Costa Blanca
The Costa Blanca, with its wonderful beaches attracts millions of tourists every year. Its fast becoming a great golfing destination, like Almeria it is one the driest ares in Spain.
Costa Dorado
Includes Barcelona and Tarragona, a lot of great courses and staying in Barcelona is an education in its self, fast becoming popular with the UK golfer.
Costa Brava
Another rising star with some quality courses this region is fast becoming a favourite
