A Thailand golf holiday is heavenly where ever you go but a Phuket golf holiday adds just that little bit more. Golf in the Sun and with a World class golf course on your door step (All courses within 20 minutes) Phuket is the ‘Pearl of Thailand ’ and is Thailand's largest island, beiong 48 kilometers (34 miles) north to south and 21 kilometers (16 miles) east to west. Phuket is dvided by a chain of mountains and valleys disecting it from North to South down the west coast.

The island offers many different looks and feels for you to discover and enjoy. Kata Beach with its spectacular tropical scenery compared with the stately cassurina trees that are found on Nai Yang Beach just a few kilometers north. The triple canopy rainforest of Khao Phra Thaeo National Park to the mud flats and mangrove swamps of Koh Siray. Limestone outcroppings line the east coast and solid granite boulders on the west. Phuket is truly a tropical wonderland and offers something for just about everyone.

| Phuket Country Club |
| |
 |
 |
 |
The Phuket Country Club established in 1989, is a great course guaranteed to help make your golf holiday in Phuket memorable occasion. There are two courses here the 18 hole Old course which has been adjudged to be on of the best in Thailand and the 9 hole country club course which is very challenging.
OLD COURSEt 18-hole, 6483 yards, par 72 golf game.
Hole #10, 557 yards par 5, is one of the most unusual hole you will find anywhere; a dog-leg right that snakes around an enormous lake and reachable in one!
To achieve it, you must aim 90 degree right of the fairway - and be able to carry you drive 240 yards over the water. See layout hole #10 diagram. The course is fun and friendly. Set in a valley, the fairways meandering through the hills
PCC is also very conveniently located - 10 minutes out of Phuket town and 15 minutes to Patong Beach and limestone cliffs.
You will traverse 3 distinct environments:- six holes in undulating hills, six holes on the level and six holes through landscape forest.
It is generally not humiliating or intimidating (depending on your temperament, of course!). Wayward shots are not too severely penalized; just stay away from the 'vertical-cliff' wall bunkers guarding strategic Greens.
Although high handicappers have the best round of their lives and keep coming back for more, the low handicap golfers still find the course |
| Loch Palm |

 |
 |
Another cracking course that will only add further to your golf break in Thailand. Located in Kathu District just 7 kms. from Phuket Town and Patong Beach, nestling below a panoramic range of peaks, and sandwiched between the Katu Waterfalls and Katu Village the layout surrounds the largest lake on any golf course in Phuket, Crystal Lake, 48 acres in size, and its smaller sister lake, which give golfers a refreshing breeze off the water.
This is an 18 holes course par 72, 6,555 yards palm tree-lined beauty, recently completed major re-designs and multi-million dollar upgrades. The course is in great shape. It is a very good layout and one that is beginning to rival some of the best layouts on the island as the refurbishment matures. You are required to put your thinking cap on and keep perfect control of your game on this tightly routed layout.
Red Mountain
Introducing the sister course to Loch palm, another great addition that will enhance your golfing experience in Phuket.
The Most Challenging golf course in Phuket, Thailand
This brand new 18-hole course is Loch Palm’s sister course.
Winding its way through a truly dramatic 1400 rai former tin mine site in the heart of Phuket, Red Mountain is surely one of Asia’s most exciting new courses. The course has been cleverly routed to take advantage of a huge variety of landforms and dizzying elevation changes. Scars left from the tin mine era have been imaginatively incorporated into the overall scheme, creating a unique character at the same time as establishing an indelible link with an important era in the Island’s past.
Designer Jon Morrow, has created a highly strategic and challenging 6,900 yard lay out to complement the shorter and gentler old Loch Palm Course. While the course is undoubtedly challenging, numerous risk and reward options create a fun playing environment, an exhilarating test of golf and a breathtaking scenic tour around a course destined to become a golfing landmark in the region.

| Blue Canyon |

 |
If you have travelled this far you have to play this one to ensure that your golf holiday in Phuket really hits the heights. Widely regarded as the best in Thailand and one of the best in Asia, Blue Canyon is something else. Cleverly designed by Yoshikazo Kato who incorporated the natural topography of the area to make a most natural looking course; it meanders through a beautiful valley and an abandonned tin mine, add to this the use of existing canyons and rubber plantations and the masterpeice was created.
At Blue Canyon, it's not only the course which leaves an impression. The clubhouse offers Thai, Japanese and International cuisine. The spacious opulently designed changing facilities, Jacuzzis, steam room, sauna and massage facilities, are without equal in the Asia Pacific.
The Lakes Course
Another cracker that has won awards for renowned architect, Yoshikazu Kato. Again he has used the natural contours of the area to hew a wonderfully natural and beautiful course that will give a fair and satifying challenge.
As the name may suggest The Lakes Course meanders around some fantastic flooded canyons left by the tin miners of old; in fact, water features in 17 of the 18 holes, it continues its journey through old colonial planatations and this new course really gives you a "blast from the past".
Another you cannot miss to ensure that your perfect golfing break in Phuket is the best ever. The course has five sets of tees for you to choose from, allowing you to select the pace and complexity of your round. The range of tees and large greens means the Lakes Course can be enjoyed by the amateur golfer while at the same time, the championship tees offer a rigorous test leading you round a challenging 7,129 yard course which demands the best even from the top players in the world. Add to this the breathtaking vistas across the lakes to the enchanting Phang-nga mountains, and you have a golfing experience quite apart from any other

THis brand new course is a Jack Nicklaus design and rherefore cannot be missed on any Thailand golfing trip. With fantastic seascapes and and scenic tree lined fairways this course has been naturally sculpted through old colonial rubber plantations and mangrove forests. This 18 hole, par 72 course meanders through pleasant surroundings for a total of 6,806 yards. Water makes an appearance on 7 holes and fairways peppered with gleaming white sanded bunkers and beautifully manicured greens makes for an aesthetic panorama..
There is also a nine hole course that has just been completed in the foothills and this is quite a chaallenge especially when you realise that it will host night golf, another experience not to be missed. |
| Thai Muangan |
 |
 |
 |
A little distance from the main body of courses but really worthwhile journey to play it. It is the only championship beach course in the area, extending along the Thai Muang beach and cooled by sea breezes from the Andaman Sea.
The views are breathtaking and this fantastic 18-hole course is famed for its beautifully tended undulating fairways and perfectly true greens. The bright greens of the course contrast beautifully with the blinding ly white beach and the sparkling blue Andaman sea,..
The par 72 course stretches 7,028 yards and as you can imagine this course has sea breezes of varying strengths to deal with, so a test for all standard of golfer. You have to try it because it is so different to all other courses in the area.
